AM Shift: 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM — PM Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Work locally in Attalla, AL with hands-on diesel maintenance responsibilities
Light Touch Freight – Mechanic position, not driving
Specialized repair and maintenance on waste pick-up trucks and support equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and air systems
Conduct regular inspections, winterizations, tire rotations, and preventative service
Maintain accurate service records and clean work environment
ASE Diesel Certification preferred – great attention to detail is a must
Ability to work in fast-paced, physically active environment
Requirements
Must have at least 24 months of mechanical experience
Must be 21 years or older
ASE Certification preferred but not required
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors/in shop conditions
Must pass a Drug Screen, Physical, and Background Check
Must be able to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel equipment
Must be able to follow all company safety standards
